Thursday night we had our campout - no rain, no hail - none of the rest of nature's other unpleasant "camping out" events... Although some found a little stinging nettle during Mission Impossible - they were only momentarily disabled

We've been enjoying the many different musical performances already throughout the dining hall meals. There's been dorm cheers, songs to the director, and anyone who gets caught with the petit bois must sing at suppertime. (ask questions later)
The lake was a dream today - glassy, the sun was hot, but not too hot...
For widegames we still needed to cool off so the game was a combination of baseball, dodgeball, and kickball. You had to kick a ball that was pitched to you, slipandslide on to the bases, and dodge the balls that were coming at you.
They drenched the slides with soap and water - so we all needed to jump in the lake afterwards - the lake was like a bath compared to the freezing hose water that Joe kept showering everyone with -
Great Day

So far we've had most of the groups get into their activities - this afternoon we have two more main events, and free time in between them. We'll mini-golf, swim, trampoline, and fill up on frozen sugary substances...
What else could you ask for?
The Wide-Games were great - there's a fierce rivalry going on between teams so we definitely "upped the ante"
Camp Days end with campfires, singing and eating and drinking.
Monday night was no exception
